Our Doctors

Our friendly doctors at Bardon Rainworth Medical Centre. Our General Practitioners have a diverse range of experience, with a variety of special medical interests.

Our reception staff will check with you who your preferred doctor is when organising an appointment. However, there are times when your preferred doctor may be away or fully booked. At these times, the doctors encourage patients to see their practice colleagues.

Dr Greg Thompson

Dr Greg Thompson / B Ed (Syd), B App Sc (CSU), MB BS (Qld), FRACGP

Dr Thompson OAM trained as a rural GP in Wangaratta in NE Victoria before returning to Brisbane in early 2006. Since taking over the practice in 2006, Dr Thompson has provided ongoing health care to the community.
Dr Jane Hutson

Dr Jane Hutson / MB.Bs(Qld) FRACGP, GCertTrav.M

Jane has spent the last 11 years looking after the community of Milton region.
Dr Lynette Brislin

Dr Lynette Brislin / MBBCh (Wits), Dip Obs (Auck), FRNZCGP, FRACGP

Dr Brislin trained in South Africa and then spent 11 years in New Zealand before relocating to Brisbane in 2007.
Dr Amanda Irwin

Dr Amanda Irwin / MB.Bs(Qld) FRACGP, B.App.Sci (HMS-ExMan) (Qld), M. SciSt.(Qld)

With her own young family, Amanda has special interests in - women's health - weight management - paediatrics - family health.
Dr Mitchell Shaw

Dr Mitchell Shaw / MB.Bs(Qld) FRACGP

In addition to his general Practitioner training, Mitchell has a keen interest in Paediatrics, adolescent health and men's health.
Dr Annie Yang

Dr Annie Yang / B.Sc (Qld), MB.Bs (Qld), Dip.Ch.Health (Syd), FRACGP

Dr Annie Yang completed her medical degree with honours at the University of Queensland in 2012. She has worked in a number of hospitals in Queensland before commencing general practice training and has since obtained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018
Dr Kylie Norris

Dr Kylie Norris / MB.Bs (UNSW) FRACGP

Kylie has a special interest in aged care, but also enjoys the variety that general practice has to offer.
Dr Robin Bahrdt

Dr Robin Bahrdt / MB.Bs

Dr Robin Bahrdt worked as a pathology scientist before studying medicine, graduating from the University of Queensland in 2013. She completed her hospital training in Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Mater Hospitals with an emphasis on obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and emergency medicine

Bardon Rainworth Medical Centre is involved with General Practice Education Training as GP Supervisor to GP graduates and provides vocational training for medical graduates wishing to specialise in general practice.
