Dr Joshua Hatch is a GP registrar who’s university qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation) from QUT and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Griffith University.
Dr Hatch was a radiographer in private and public hospitals in South East Queensland from 2003 to 2012, including working as a specialist MRI radiographer.
After completing medical school at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, he completed two years of residency at Ipswich Hospital, before taking up positions in orthopaedic surgery from 2015-2018, including a year at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (now Qld Children’s Hospital) in paediatric orthopaedics.
Dr Hatch has completed the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons General Surgical Sciences Exam, Courses in Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient and Emergency Management of Severe Trauma, certification in Orthopaedic Surgical Anatomy from QUT and has completed Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics.
Dr Hatch has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine including soft tissue injection.
Dr Hatch was born and raised in Brisbane, has three daughters, and enjoys fishing in his spare time.
