In addition to his general Practitioner training, Mitchell has a keen interest in Paediatrics, adolescent health and men’s health.

Dr Mitchell Shaw studied Science and Medicine at the University of Queensland (BSc, MBBS). He then trained locally at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital before undertaking training in General practice (RACGP). Having finished all of his studies, Mitchell then returned to UQ for a number of different teaching roles within the School of Medicine, as well as assisting in the training of future General Practitioners. Mitchell is an examiner for UQ School of Medicine and the RACGP. Mitchell focuses on an evidence based approach, with experience in Child health, Men’s health, skin checks, complex disease management and older person’s health.

Qualifications: MB.Bs(Qld) FRACGP

Special Interests: Paediatrics, adolescent health and geriatric/rehabilition medicine.

Monday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
Thursday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
